    Transferred to 12th Air Force, Mediterranean Theater.

    1945

    Transferred to 15th Air Force, Italy and southern Germany.
    Exact disposition in combat service is unknown.

    September 1945

    Transported by ship.
    Shipped back to the U.S.A. after WWII service in Europe.

    18 September 1947

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 44-72942.

    1948

    Redesignated as F-51D.

    Served with various ANG units.

    27 September 1957

    To Dale Newton with new c/r N5427V.
    Purchased as surplus for $755.00.
