    Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the T-6 class. The primary pilot was N S (Bud) Granley from Bellevue, WA. Qualified in 11th place with an average speed of 222.823 mph. Raced in Heat 1B. Finished in 5th place with an average speed of 217.009 mph. Raced in the Medallion 2 race. Finished in 4th place with an average speed of 213.517 mph.

    25 February 1995

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at McNary Field (SLE) Salem, OR, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The pilot performed a wheel landing, then allowed the tail to come down as speed bled off during rollout. He stated that when the tail wheel made contact with the runway, tail wheel steering appeared to be normal and he used it to maintain his position on the centerline of the runway...
