    Crashed.
    Herb Stratton reports (Septebmer 2014): Adger W McGinty owned this AT-6. He was flying a NBC camera man during an airshow at the executive airport in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While filming aerobatic stunts by Johnny Foy Jr., the biplane performing the stunts rolled into the AT-6, gravely injuring Adger McGinty. The camera man was not injured, but Mr Foy Died when his plane crashed from the collision. Mr. McGinty was able to belly land the damaged AT-6 at the executive airport. The NBC camera man walked away without a scratch. My uncle Adger W McGinty died two days later in a Fort Lauderdale hospital. He is buried in Cordele Georgia.

    Crashed.
    There was one fatality. The accident occurred at the Reno/stead Airport (4SD) Reno, NV, United States while maneuvering. The airframe was destroyed. Two airplanes collided while participating in an air race near the airport. One airplanes (referred to as #1) left wing and empennage separated in flight and crashed into a residence; the other airplane (referred to as #2) landed at the airport without further incidence...
