    Competed at the Reno National Championship Air Races in the Biplane class. The primary pilot was Jerry McCafferty from Tumwater, WA. Qualified in 24th place with an average speed of 151.886 mph. Raced in Heat 1C. Finished in 8th place with an average speed of 134.902 mph. Raced in Heat 2C. Finished in 8th place with an average speed of 137.609 mph. Raced in the Bronze race. Finished in 7th place with an average speed of 139.999 mph.

    Raced as #12, named The Thing.
    Competed at the Reno National Championship Air Races in the Biplane class. The primary pilot was Jerry Mccafferty from Tacoma, WA. Qualified in 21st place with an average speed of 158.220 mph. Finished in 6th place with an average speed of 146.498 mph.
