    Competed at the National Championship Air Races in the Racing Biplane class. The primary pilot was Al Kramer. Qualified in 4th place with an average speed of 196.60 mph. Started the Gold Semi-Final race, but did not finish. Pulled about before completing the final lap.

    From 12 September 1983 to 18 September 1983

    Raced as #22, named COBRA.
    Appeared at the National Championship Air Races to compete in the Racing Biplane class, but did not qualify. The primary pilot was Don Mortensen. Started Heat, but did not finish. Raced in the Trophy race. Finished in 3rd place with an average speed of 186.40 mph. Had not even intended to come, but arrived late on Friday to try to help fill out the very short Racing Biplane field and was permitted to race without qualifying.
