    Transferred to Bombing Squadron 84 (VB-84).

    Transferred to Bombing Squadron 14 (VB-14), USS Wasp (CV-18).

    28 May 1945

    Crashed.
    Ditched in Otay Lake, CA due to engine failure. Both crew OK.

    20 August 2010

    Recovered.
    Recovered by A [and] T Recovery.

    To National Naval Aviation Museum, NAS Pensacola, Pensacola, FL.
    Awaiting restoration.
