    Constructed as a Harrier GR.1A.

    27 September 1971

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the Royal Air Force with s/n XW919.

    November 1971

    Notes: XW919 somewhere in UK.

    28 June 1973

    Crashed.
    Crashed at RAF Lyneham, Wiltshire after loss of power due to engine failure. Pilot ejected safely. Repaired and returned to service.

    July 1973

    Converted to a Harrier GR.3.

    1982

    Used in the filming of BBC tv series Squadron.

    12 July 1982

    Damaged.
    During Falklands War, while on bombing mission over the Sapper Hill on East Falkland it was severely damaged by the AA fire from Argentinian Grupo de Artilleraa Antiaerea 601 (possibly by Tigercat missile). With tail section on fire the pilot managed to land on HMS Hermes.

    August 1982

    Transported by ship.
    To Great Britain aboard MV Contender Bezant.

    Placed on display with Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, Shrivenham.

    June 2010

    Placed on display with Krakow Aviation Museum, Krakow, Malopolskie (Lesser Poland Voivodeship).
