    Constructed as a C-46A-10-CU by Curtiss at Buffalo, NY, USA.

    December 1944

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 44-77545.

    Circa 1945

    Transferred to 313th Troop Carrier Group, Achiet, France.


    Took part in Operation Varsity - dropping paratroops of the 17th Airborne Division near Wesel in Germany east of the Rhine.

    From Circa 1946 to 1965

    Assigned to Davis Montham, AZ for storage.

    2 March 1965

    To unknown owner.
    Sold to unknown buyer.

    1 April 1969

    To C-46 Parts Inc with c/r N32227.

    7 March 1972

    To Aerovias Las Minas, Bolivia with c/r CP-973.
    Used for transporting meat.


    To Transportes Aereos Boliviar.


    To Frigorifico Santa Rita.


    Put into storage.


    To Lineas Aereas Canedo, Bolivia.

    From 2001 to 2009

    At Cochabamba, central Bolivia. The restoration included conversion to passenger service configuration with 32 plush leather seats fitted.

    July 2009

    First post-restoration Flight.
