    Constructed as a C-130A-7-LM by Lockheed at Marietta, GA.

    28 February 1957

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 56-0509.

    Transferred to 314th Troop Carrier Wing, Smyrna AFB (later Sewart AFB), TN.

    27 July 1970

    Converted to an AC-130A.

    1970

    Transferred to 16th Special Operations Squadron, 8th Tactical Fighter Wing, Ubon Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand.
    Operated over Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia.

    12 December 1970

    Damaged.
    Survived hits in five places by 37mm anti-aircraft artillery.

    12 April 1971

    Damaged.
    Suffered Extensive left wing leading edge damage from ground fire.

    4 March 1972

    Damaged.
    57mm round damaged the belly and injuring one crew member.

    Aircraft spent a few weeks on the ground at Ubon to get temporarily repaired so it could fly back to the states to get permanently repaired at depot before returning to Vietnam.

    23 December 1972

    Damaged.
    Damaged at An Loc, South Vietnam; repaired.

    May 1975

    Participated in the rescue of the SS Mayaguez.

    From 17 June 1975 to 1 October 1994

    Transferred to 711th Special Operations Squadron, 919th Special Operations Group, (AFRES), Duke Field (Eglin Air Force Auxiliary Field No. 3), FL.
    Operated with markings: Ultimate End, FT

    From December 1989 to January 1990

    Participated in Operation Just Cause invasion of Panama.

    From January 1991 to February 1991

    Flew combat mission in Operation Desert Storm against Iraq and Kuwait.

    September 1994

    Flew missions in Operation Uphold Democracy in Haiti.

    1 October 1994

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.

    Ferry flight. Delivered to Air Commando Park, Hurlburt Field (South West Side), Fort Walton Beach, FL.
