    First flight with a ramjet installed.

    25 February 1959

    While piloted by Turcat, it beat the speed record of 100 km closed circuit at an average of 1643 km / h.

    Circa April 1959

    A few months later, it reached M = 2.19 to 16,400 meters altitude.

    From Unknown to 1960

    Performances explained that Americans are interested in Griffon developed to assist in financing the flight test. The Griffon II continued his tests.

    By 1962

    Placed on display with Musee de L air et de L Espace (The Air and Space Museum), Le Bourget, Paris, Ile-De-France.
