    Constructed as a F-4E-44-MC by McDonnell Douglas at Saint Louis, Missouri, USA.

    23 December 1970

    First flight.

    19 January 1971

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 69-7551.

    By 1972

    Transferred to 469th TFS, 388th TFW, Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand.

    From 1972 to 1974

    Transferred to 34th TFS, 388th TFW, Hill Air Force Base, UT.

    By September 1973

    According to several images this F-4E scored a MiG kill during the Vietnam War. However, this kill was never confirmed and thus there is no official credit.

    From 1975 to 1987

    Transferred to 51st TFW, Osan AB, South Korea.
    Was the wing commanders aircraft.

    20 March 1990

    Converted to a F-4G.

    1991

    Transferred to 3rd TFW, Clark Air Base, Philippines.

    From 1992 to 1993

    Transferred to 190th TFS, 124th TFG, Idaho ANG, Gowen Field, ID.
    Operated with markings: WW, IDAHO

    To National Museum of the United States Air Force Loan Program, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
