    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was written off. It was a local military flight from Parkes Airport, NSW (PKE/YPKS), Australia. The accident occurred at Parkes Airport, NSW (PKE) (Australia) while taking off. Narrative: Crash-landed during a series of takeoff and landing exercises.

    15 June 1942

    Terry Knowles comments (7 February 2018): The accident happened at 1015hrs. The aircraft crashed landed from 200 feet quarter of a mile from boundary fence during a series of take-off and landing exercises at Parkes, NSW. Crew; PLTOFF C.R.N. Lewis 3889 (Pilot), FLTLT N.C.P. Blight 366 (2nd Pilot), FLGOFF H.R.I. Cox 689, CPL I.B. Sharpe 4776(passenger), CPL N.H. Harris 37296 (passenger), LAC E.T. Ryan 42292 (passenger), AC1 M. Gilday 63372 (passenger), AC1 E.R. McPhee 18885(passenger), AC1 D.J. Slatter 43622 (passenger) and AC1 J.J. OaCODonnell 42276 (passenger) all slightly injured. SGT W.C. Arthur 61516 (passenger) and another killed. Sergeant W C Arthur was the son of Edmund William, and Margaret Ann Arthur, of Prospect, South Australia and is interred in Methodist Plot. Sec. R Grave 16 of Parkes General Cemetery.

    Written off.

    10 July 1942

    Scrapped.
    Converted to components including Wright Cyclones #21709 and 21942.
