    Summary: The airframe was written off. It was a local military flight from Merryfield RAF Station, United Kingdom. The accident occurred at near Koksijde (Belgium) while en route. Narrative: Damaged beyond repair in an accident.

    Summary: The airframe was written off. There were five fatalities. The domestic non scheduled passenger flight departed Calcutta-Dum Dum Airport (CCU/VECC), India and was destined for Balurghat Airport (RGH/VEBG), India. The accident occurred at near Calcutta-Dum Dum Airport (CCU) (India) while in the initial climb. Narrative: The no. 1 engine of the DC-3 caught fire immediately after takeoff from Calcutta runway 19R. The aircraft failed to gain height, stalled and crashed into trees, 3330 feet past the runway end...
