    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Ketchikan, AK, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The pilot was attempting to land on calm water after a 3 minute positioning flight. During the touch down, the left float dug into the water which resulted in a swerve and water contact with the right wing.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at Ketchikan, AK, United States while taking off. The damage was substantial. The pilot in command attempted a wheel takeoff from an area used for a seaplane pullout ramp. Witnesses said they had not seen a wheel plane attempt takeoff from that spot in three years. The available takeoff distance was approximately 500 feet. The DHC2 beaver struck a one story generator building, shearing off a horizontal stabilizer...
