    Transferred to VR-8, NAS Patuxent.
    Was part of establishing VR-8.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 90407 as a R5D-4.

    To VR-11, NAS Oakland.
    VR-8 reestablished as VR-11.

    Was still with VR-8 when it was disbanded.

    1 June 1948

    Transferred to MATS.

    Converted to a R5D-4R.

    November 1948

    Transfered to Germany for 8 month participation in Berlin airlift.

    1949

    Transferred to Hickham AFB, HI.
    Transferred to Hickham on return from Germany.

    1956

    Operated as Blue Angels support aircraft.

    21 September 1957

    Transferred to VR-8, NAS Moffet.

    1962

    Redesignated as C-54R.

    30 April 1967

    VR-8 disbanded.
