    Notes: CF-ABA at Winnipeg on 17Apr73 - One-time Scandinavian Airlines System DC-3 with Quebec based Albig Aviation. A few days later ownership changed for operation by Superior Airways out of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Exported as N3FY in 1979, it crashed in Guatemala in 1998.

    Summary: The airframe was written off. There were 11 fatalities. The domestic non scheduled passenger flight departed Playa Grande Airport (PKJ), Guatemala and was destined for Quetzaltenango Airport (MGQZ), Guatemala. The accident occurred at near Quetzaltenango (Guatemala) while on approach. Narrative: The DC-3 was on a flight from Playa Grande when it crashed into mountainous terrain near Quetzaltenango Airport. Instrument meteorological conditions (thick fog and rain) prevailed and no flight plan was reported filed...

    There were 11 fatalities and were seven serious injuries. The accident occurred at QUETZALTENANANG, Guatemala. The airframe was destroyed. The foreign authority was the source of this information. On November 1, 1998, about 1430 Central Standard Time, a Douglas DC3C, N3FY, registered to Living Water Teaching Inc, operating as a business flight, crashed into mountainous terrain near Quetzaltenango Airport, Quetzaltenango, Guatemala...
