    Summary: The airframe was written off. The domestic non scheduled passenger flight departed Bogota-Eldorado Airport (BOG/SKBO), Colombia and was destined for Arauca-Santiago Perez Airport (AUC/SKUC), Colombia. The accident occurred at 16 km (10 mls) from Bogota-Eldorado Airport (BOG) (Colombia) while in the initial climb. Narrative: A Douglas C-118A transport plane, operated by Air Colombia was chartered to carry 80 soldiers on a flight from Bogota to Arauca and Puerto Carreno. The flight left at 09:10 hours local time but was forced to return due to a mechanical failure...
