Notes: at Oakland CA USA Steve Picatti working on the final touches of A84-229 date apprx Aug 1996. This aircraft left the next morning for Australia with Steve Picatti at the controls. Steve climbed out of Oakland and did a fly by over the North Field complex and headed out towards the Golden Gate bridge for Honolulu. I worked w/Steve when he was a career firefighter for Santa Clara County Central Fire Distr in San Jose, CA USA. Many years later, living near Redding, the same jet is parked as of November 2017 at the Civil Air Patrol Squadron and I did not know this until a couple days ago,(January 2021) this is the same jet! I know Steve Picatti moved to Idaho years ago and was able to fly with him in San Jose in his Cherokee 180.! This photo here was a 1,000,000 to 1 chance meeting him here.
