    To Aero Inc DBA Aerolaska, Fairbanks, CA with c/r N6587C {2}.

    25 February 1983

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Nuiqsut Airport (10AK) Nuiqsut, AK, United States while taxiing. The damage was substantial. The captain reported that the aircraft moved faster at idle power because the cargo had been offloaded. When he checked the brakes halfway down the taxiway he found that the brakes would not slow the aircraft on glare ice and snow. The flight engineer began reversing the propellers. Approaching the runway the aircraft began to turn until the nose wheel began skidding...
