    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 44-9147.
    Transferred from USAAF.

    1946

    Plane was used by Former President Herbert Hoover, chairman of President Trumans Famine Emergency Committee, to fly to India to determine their need for food assistance in May 1946.
