    During maintenance both engines were changed to PT6A-27 series type. In the subsequent post maintenance flight from Clayton County, Georgia the aircraft crashed killing both occupants.

    Summary: The airframe was destroyed. There were two fatalities. There were 16,541 hours and 20,927 cycles on the airframe at the time. It was a local testing flight from Clayton County Airport-Tara Field, GA, United States of America. The accident occurred at 1,3 km (0. 8 mls) SW of Clayton County Airport-Tara Field, GA (United States of America) while on approach. Narrative: A DHC-6 Twin Otter skydiving plane was destroyed when it crashed during a local post-maintenance test flight from Clayton County Airport-Tara Field, GA...

    Crashed.
    There were two fatalities. The accident occurred at the Clayton County Airport (4A7) Hampton, GA, United States while on appoach. The damage was substantial. The airplane had not been flown for about 5 months and the purpose of the accident flight was a maintenance test flight after both engines had been replaced with higher horsepower models. Witnesses observed the airplane depart and complete two uneventful touch-and-go landings...
