    Ferry flight.
    Ralph Honeycutt comments (April 2015): This plane was flown from Mitchel Field, NY to Augusta, Ga., by my father, Captain Ralph L. Honeycutt per his flight log. Captain Honeycutt flew DCs over the hump during WW2.

    Involved in an incident.
    Summarized NTSB narrative from report number IAD76II042: There were no fatalities. Incident occurred at 11:05 hours. There was minor damage. Incident occurred at the Baltimore-wash Airport, Baltimore, MD. The flight departed from Morgantown, WV, with the destination Baltimore, MD. Suffered a hard landing on touch down. The gear collapsed during the landing rollout. The factors included; overload failure.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Charlotte/douglas Airport (CLT) Charlotte, NC, United States while standing. The damage was substantial. The pilot attempted an insrument departure from Charlotte, NC, without deicing the aircraft which witnesses stated, had ice on the airframe. During climbout, the pilot was not able to maintain elevator control so he returned to land at charlotte. During the landing roll the aircraft traveled off the departure end of the runway...
