    To Ted Keys with c/r NC36794.

    From April 1942 to 31 August 1943

    This aircraft saw action during WWII with the Civil Air Patrol Coastal Patrol Base 3 (CP3), originally at Morrison Field in West Palm Beach, FL, and later at Lantana, FL, flown by owner Capt. Ted Keys, who received the Air Medal for his distinguished service. CP3 aircrews flew anti-submarine missions 7 days a week for 18 months until the U.S. Navy took over the missions. CP3 dropped 21 bombs in 14 attacks on U-boats.
