    Transferred to Air National Guard.

    Remanufactured as a B-26K by On Mark Engineering at Van Nuys, CA, USA.

    23 March 1965

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Air Force with s/n 64-17676.

    Transferred to 1st Air Commando Wing, England AFB, LA.

    May 1966

    Transferred to 603rd Special Operations Squadron, 1st Special Operations Wing, Eglin AFB, FL.

    May 1966

    Redesignated as A-26A.
    Redesignated as A-26A for basing in Thailand because they would not allow bombers based there.

    May 1966

    Deployed. It was first of six to arrive at Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Force Base, Thailand for combat operation in Vietnam.

    From 23 October 1969 to 1972

    Transferred to the Military Aircraft Storage and Disposal Center (MASDC) with inventory number AD002.

    Competed at the California National Air Races in the Speed Sprint class. The primary pilot was Wally McDonnell. Raced in the Consolation race. Finished in 3rd place with an average speed of 269.092 mph. Raced in the Championship race. Finished in 3rd place with an average speed of 272.234 mph.

    Raced as #4, named Mojave Kid.
    Competed at the California National Air Races in the Drag race. The primary pilot was Wally McDonnell. Raced in Heat B. Finished in 2nd place. Raced in Heat 4A. Finished in 2nd place with an average speed of 220.556 mph.

    November 1980

    Ferry flight. Delivered to National Museum of the United States Air Force, Wright Field, Dayton, OH.
