    Constructed as a PT-19A.
    The PT-19A #17 was built for the US Army Air Force as serial number 42-83239. I do not have a former civil registration number for it, as we received it in poor condition from the widow of the man who was restoring it, and we had no paperwork for it. - Source Stewart Bailey - Museum Curator

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 42-83239.
