    Loaned to 36 Squadron, RAAF.

    Returned from loan to U. S. Army Air Forces, Australia.

    29 April 1944

    To Australia National Airline.
    On loan from USAAF.

    January 1946

    Returned from loan to U. S. Army Air Forces, Australia.

    22 May 1946

    To Australia National Airline with c/r VH-ANO.
    Operated with markings: Tinana

    From October 1957 to 29 September 1969

    To Ansett-ANA.

    From 1966 to September 1966

    Loaned to Victoria Air Coach.

    Notes: VH-ANO was a USAAF Douglas C-49B impressed from Eastern Airlines. It is seen in February 1969, retired in theEssendon graveyard parking area, surrounded by a dozen other Ansett DC-3s. VH-ANO escaped the mass scrapping by its sale to an Indonesian airline, which was not completed, and later it was delivered to Cambodia to United Khmer Airlines as XU-FAI.
