    Constructed as a C-47-DL by Douglas at Long Beach, California, USA.

    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Army Air Force with s/n 41-7846.

    To unknown owner with c/r I-NAVE.

    By 3 November 1958

    To Yemen Airlines with c/r YE-AAB (Douglas C-47 (DC-3), 4345).

    Crashed.
    Summary: The airframe was written off. There were eight fatalities. The international non-scheduled passenger flight departed Roma-Ciampino Airport (CIA/LIRA), Italy and was destined for Beograd Airport (BEG/LYBE), Serbia. The accident occurred at near Roccatamburo di Poggiodomo (Italy) while en route. Narrative: The DC-3 was to fly the Yemenite Under Secretary of Foreign Affairs from Rome to Belgrade. The aircraft departed Rome a 16:45 GMT. At 17:29 Ciampino Tower (Rome) radioed the crew that they were on a 315deg heading west of reporting point Viterbo...
