    Taken on Strength/Charge with the United States Navy with BuNo 17276 as a R4D-6.

    Transferred to Fleet Air Wing 14 (CFAW-14), San Diego, CA.

    22 September 1944

    Transferred to Fleet Air Wing 8 (FAW-8).

    24 September 1944

    Transferred to Rescue Squadron 5 (VH-5), NAS Alameda, CA.

    January 1945

    Transferred to VE-3.
