The gear collapsed while taxiing from landing. Report remarks include: Left mlg inbd strut outer cylinder failed. Crack wasnt detected durg ovrhl.

The accident occurred at Tshikapa Airport (TSH) (Congo (Democratic Republic)) while taking off. Narrative: The Convair was taking off for a flight to Mbuji-Mayi when unusual noise was heard. The takeoff was aborted but the plane overran the runway and collided with an embankment...
