On August 12, 1985, a bell 47G2 helicopter collided with a yucca tree and rolled over during a landing near Big Bear City, CA. The aircraft sustained substantial damage and the pilot and his two passengers were not injured...

    Crashed.
    There was one minor injury. The accident occurred at the Rialto Airport (L67) Rialto, CA, United States while maneuvering. The airframe was destroyed. The pilot lost directional control while practicing hovers near the ground. Winds were 10 knots gusting 20. The pilot stated she encountered turbulence during a hover turn and overcontrolled. The tail boom struck the ground, the canopy disintegrated and the helicopter ended up on its side.
