The two pilots aboard were both certified flight instructors. The purpose of the flight was for one of the two pilots to renew the others tailwheel currency. During the landing left main gear collapsed. The instructing pilot performed the landing...

    Crashed.
    There was one minor injury. The accident occurred at Clinton Field (I66) Wilmington, OH, United States while landing. The damage was substantial. The pilot reported that after the initial touchdown, the tailwheel equipped airplane bounced and floated as he held the stick back. The airplane touched down again and began to porpoise, while he continued to hold the stick back. He further reported that the airplane veered to the left and he attempted to correct with rudder inputs...
