The cargo flight departed Munchen-Riem Airport (MUC/EDDM), Germany and was destined for Beograd Airport (BEG/LYBE), Serbia. The event occurred at near Maribor (Slovenia) while en route. The airframe was repaired. Narrative: The C-47 transport plane was operating on a cargo flight, carrying live animals from Blackbushe, U. K. To Belgrade in what was then known as Yugoslavia.
