    Involved in an incident.
    Landing accident due to engine failure with fire, at Spence Field; pilot Edward F. Renner.

    Transferred to 3040th Aircraft Storage Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ.

    November 1957

    Transferred to Military Assistance Program.

    24 November 1957

    Transported by ship.
    Delivered by US Navy escort carrier CVE-64 Tripoli to Santander, Spain. Towed to Parayas airport and prepared for ferry flight to Matacan Air Base, Salamanca.

    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at the Winchester Airport (W16) Winchester, VA, United States while taxiing. The T-6 struck the C-150 from behind while both were taxiing for takeoff. The C-150 was stopped at the time. There was an annual fly-in being held at the airport with about 300 aircraft in attendance. Ground personnel were directing ground traffic. The T-6 pilot said he was motioned forward by ground personnel who he relied on because he was unable to see directly ahead of the nose of his aircraft...
