    Crashed.
    The accident occurred at SAN JUAN while cruising. The airframe was destroyed. The pilot stated that during cruise flight, the flight crew noticed that the left engine had high temperature and that its oil pressure started to fluctuate. A precautionary engine shutdown was performed. A short time later, the right engine started to fail and the airplane would not maintain altitude. The left engine was restarted, but the flight crew could not maintain altitude...

    Summary: The airframe was destroyed. There were 14,239 hours on the airframe at the time. The ferrying/positioning flight departed Saint Thomas-Cyril E. King Airport (STT/TIST), U. S. Virgin Islands and was destined for San Juan-Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU/TJSJ), Puerto Rico. The accident occurred at off Luquillo (Puerto Rico) while en route. Narrative: The aircraft was in cruise flight at 3000 feet, 20 minutes after takeoff from St. Thomas, when the no. 1 engine temperature 100 degrees and the oil pressure started to fluctuate...
