    Involved in an incident.
A Flying Tiger DC-4 airplane carrying cargo and a crew of two, rolled off the end of Runway 18-Right at Chicago airport at 4:10 p.m. yesterday when the brakes failed to function. Pilot H. Bus Killian managed to steer the free-rolling plane clear of several other four-engined aircraft parked on the south ramp. As his craft rolled off the runway pavement the nosewheel collapsed and it ground to a stop, with the nose of the cabin digging in the ground, just short of the fence along West 63d street. Neither Killian nor his co-pilot, D. K. Skinner, were injured, and there was no fire. Weather at the time was poor, visibility being one mile.
